Interaction between hypertension and HSP70 variants increase the risk of cerebral ischemia in Chinese Han population: An association study

► We investigated the association between polymorphisms of HSP70 and cerebral ischemia. ► Genotypes of +190CG and +2437TT were closely related with cerebral ischemia. ► No significant difference in allele or genotype frequencies of +1267A/G were observed. ► Interaction between hypertension and HSP70 variants increase cerebral ischemic risk.
