Evolutionary history of the Corallinales (Corallinophycidae, Rhodophyta) inferred from nuclear, plastidial and mitochondrial genomes

► We studied the systematics of the Corallinales using four molecular loci. ► We recovered the monophyly of the order and of the two families. ► The non-monophyly of one of the subfamily implied substantial taxonomic revisions. ► Moreover, the presence of cryptic diversity is revealed in several corallinean taxa.
