Association between cancer screening behavior and family history among Japanese women

► We examined health behaviors in relation to a family cancer history. ► Having a family history was strongly associated with cancer screening behavior. ► Women with a sister history were more likely to have undergone cancer screenings. ► Lifestyle behaviors did not differ regardless of having a family history of cancer.
