Non-participation in screening: The case of cervical cancer in Denmark

► We analyzed screening history for women with cervical cancer. ► With a traditional audit based on local data 40% of patients had been screened. ► Based on comprehensive national data this proportion increased to 55%. ► Comprehensive data are needed to evaluate screening in control of cervical cancer.
