Biosurfactants prevent in vitro Candida albicans biofilm formation on resins and silicon materials for prosthetic devices

This study demonstrated the preventive antiadhesion activity of biosurfactants against C. albicans biofilm. These agents are amphiphilic, interfere with microbial adhesion, and demonstrate cycompatibility with epithelial cells and fibroblasts.
