Facile synthesis of TiO2(B) crystallites/nanopores structure: A highly efficient photocatalyst
چکیده انگلیسی

TiO2(B) was prepared by a facile green solvothermal method and further characterized by the powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), raman spectroscopy and nitrogen sorption analysis, and it has been found that the as-synthesized sample possesses a unique crystallites/nanopores structure and has a very large surface area (484 m2 g−1). Surprisingly, it exhibits the very high photocatalytic activity and good stability for the decomposition of methyl orange (MO) compared to that of P25.

TiO2(B) with unique crystallites/nanopores structure was synthesized by a simple and green solvothermal method, and it exhibits the good photocatalytic activity and stability for decomposition MO dye compared to P25.Figure optionsDownload high-quality image (216 K)Download as PowerPoint slideResearch highlights
► The as-synthesized TiO2 (B) catalyst is composed of tiny crystallites and nanopores
► The as-synthesized TiO2 (B) catalyst posses the large surface area up to 484 m2 g−1
