Microgel particles containing methacrylic acid: pH-triggered swelling behaviour and potential for biomaterial application

This work investigates the pH-dependent swelling and rheological properties of microgel particles containing methacrylic acid. The results provide insight into the structure-property relationships for the particles and establishes a basis for their potential use as a load supporting biomaterial.
