Clinical outcome of patients with FIGO stage IA2 squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix

► 74.2% (66) of all (89) our patients, diagnosed with IA2 squamous cell microinvasive carcinoma between 1973 and 2009 were treated with conization. ► At the end of the observed period the survival rate was 98.0%. ► Our results support the conclusion that conservative management of IA2 squamous cell microinvasive carcinoma is safe.
