Modulation of lower limb muscle activity induced by curved walking in typically developing children

- Muscle activity during curved walking was investigated in typically developing children.
- A comprehensive assessment with several angles of turn, to both sides, was performed.
- The largest adaptations occurred in the thigh of the inner limb and in the shank of the outer limb.
- Asymmetry between right and left turns was observed for some parameters.
