▶ Rats can discriminate two concurrent visual cues that predict different foods. ▶ Discrimination is not aided by spatial cues. ▶ This eliminates a major difference between rat and monkey tasks. ▶ Rats devalue two foods by satiation and transfer the new value to the visual cues. ▶ Rats adjust responses by choosing the devalued cue less than the non-devalued.
