Effect of operating temperature on the behavior of promising SPEEK/cSMM electrolyte membrane for DMFCs

► Blending of cSMM was successfully done with SPEEK membrane. ► cSMM addition enhanced the proton conductivity at temperature range studied. ► cSMM addition caused a methanol permeability reduction at different temperatures. ► cSMM addition is an effective approach to improve performance of neat SPEEK.
