Effect of bore fluid composition on structure and performance of asymmetric polysulfone hollow fiber membrane contactor for CO2 absorption

► Different amount of NMP in water were used as bore fluid to fabrication of PSf HFM. ► Average pore size increased by increasing NMP concentration in the bore fluid. ► N2 permeance and CEPw decrease by increasing NMP concentration in BF. ► The membranes were used in contactor application for absorption of CO2 with water. ► 90% NMP in bore fluid provided the membrane structure that enhanced CO2 flux.
