Effect of gas sparging on flux enhancement and phytochemical properties of clarified pineapple juice by microfiltration

► Gas sparging was employed in clarification of pineapple juice by microfiltration. ► It could significantly enhance critical flux and limiting flux. ► Reversible fouling but not irreversible fouling could be reduced by gas sparging. ► Gas sparging did not affect phytochemical properties of the clarified juice.
