Cobalt(II) membrane-extraction by DP-8R/Exxsol D100 using pseudo-emulsion based hollow fiber strip dispersion (PEHFSD) processing

► Co is transported using a pseudo-emulsion pertraction membrane technology. ► We developed a permeation model to explain the transport of cobalt across the fibers. ► The present technology is a good alternative to process cobalt-bearing solutions. ► The technology separated Co(II)/Li(I) from solutions derived from LIB treatment.
