Separation of acetone, butanol and ethanol (ABE) from dilute aqueous solutions by silicalite-1/PDMS hybrid pervaporation membranes

► For single organic solvent solutions, butanol adsorption on the silicalite-1 was the highest. ► For single organic solvent solutions, acetone permeability through the membranes was the highest. ► The presence of acetone and ethanol could promote butanol permeability through the membranes.
