The role of preparation route upon the ambient pressure ammonia synthesis activity of Ni2Mo3N

- Ni2Mo3N prepared via a modified Pechini route displays high activity for ambient pressure NH3 synthesis at 400 °C.
- Lattice nitrogen of Ni2Mo3N can be exchanged with 15N2 although behaviour is heavily dependent upon sample pre-treatment.
- CoNiMo3N can be prepared by the modified Pechini route.
