Preparation, characterization and catalytic behavior for propane partial oxidation of Ga-promoted MoVTeO catalysts

- Ga-promoted MoVTeO catalysts were prepared, characterized and tested in the propane oxidation.
- Ga-containing catalysts show both high activity and high selectivity to acrylic acid.
- Ga3+ species are mainly incorporated in the catalyst surface.
- The number of acid sites on catalyst surface decreases with the incorporation of Ga3+.
- M1 phase is mainly observed in active and selective catalysts.
