Influence of the composition/texture of Mn-Na-W catalysts on the oxidative coupling of methane

- A very active Mn-Na-W/SiO2 OCM catalyst has been developed.
- A further activity increase was achieved by replacing the SiO2 support by SiC.
- Catalyst activity is limited by the lack of sufficient surface area.
