Study of the dry reforming of methane and ethanol using Rh catalysts supported on doped alumina

- Rh/NiO-Al2O3 is the best catalyst for methane and ethanol dry reforming.
- Ni contributes to the catalyst activity and the formation of NiAl2O4 stabilizes Rh.
- Other dopants (Zr, Mg, Ce, La) are detrimental to the performances of Rh/Al2O3.
