Decomposition of ethanol into H2-rich gas and carbon nanotubes over Ni, Co and Fe supported on SBA-15 and Aerosil

- Ethanol decomposition to H2 and C-nanotubes depends on the type of metal and support.
- Both Ni-based catalysts proved the most active with high yield for H2 and C-nanotubes.
- Well-defined MWCNTs are produced over Ni/silica independently on the support porosity.
