Mesoporous NiO-Al2O3 catalyst for high pressure partial oxidation of methane to syngas

▶ Mesoporous NiO-Al2O3 catalyst shows high activity of oxidative reforming of methane at 650 °C and 1 MPa. ▶ The limited diffusivity of reactant gas in mesopores resulted in the high tolerance of nickel species against oxidation. ▶ The limited diffusivity of reactant gas in mesopores resulted in the high syngas selectivity.
