The effect of the metal precursor-reduction with hydrogen on a library of bimetallic Pd-Au and Pd-Pt catalysts for the direct synthesis of H2O2

- Two sets of bimetallic Pd-Pt and Pd-Au catalysts for the direct synthesis of H2O2.
- Preparation and testing of the catalysts in the absence of selectivity enhancers.
- Addition of platinum improves the overall activity making worse the selectivity.
- Addition of gold in the lowest amount (0.25%, w/w) enhances the overall activity with only a slight improvement of the selectivity.
