Revisiting the synthesis of Au/TiO2 P25 catalyst and application in the low temperature water-gas shift under realistic conditions

- Deactivation of catalysts is related to sintering of gold particles under WGS conditions.
- Final pH and time of synthesis are important in deposition precipitation synthesis of Au/TiO2 P25.
- Commercial CuO/ZnO/Al2O3 WGS catalyst performs better than the 'highly active' AUROlite 1 wt.% Au/TiO2.
