Ag/Pt-modified TiO2 nanoparticles for toluene photooxidation in the gas phase

- Ag/Pt-TiO2 photocatalysts were synthesized by sol-gel method.
- Toluene was removed efficiently after 20 min irradiation using LEDs.
- Most active sample contents Ag large particles (30 nm) with fine Pt once on TiO2.
- Efficiency of toluene degradation was re-established by thermal treating of sample.
