Photocatalytic degradation of sulfamethazine by graphitic carbon nitride-modified zinc molybdate: Effects of synthesis method on performance, degradation kinetics, and mechanism

β-ZnMoO4/C3N4 composites were successfully synthesized via different methods. Surface modification of β-ZnMoO4 with C3N4 resulted in enhanced photocatalytic activity, and this observation is attributed to the higher separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs.
