Influence of carbon and yttrium co-doping on the photocatalytic activity of mixed phase TiO2

Carbon and Yttrium co-doping mixed phase TiO2 has been fabricated by sol-gel method. The enhancement of photocatalytic activity can be attributed to the synergistic effect of C and Y co-doping and the appropriate crystalline structure.
