Preparation of LaMnO3 for catalytic combustion of vinyl chloride

90% vinyl chloride conversion was obtained at 182 °C on LaMnO3. More available adsorbed oxygen and Mn4+ species on the surface were mainly responsible for the enhancement of catalytic activity.
