Using three-dimensional flight patterns at airfields to identify hotspots for avian-aircraft collisions

► We collected data on location and altitude of vultures equipped with GPS technology. ► We visualized aircraft flight landing patterns in three-dimensions over the airfield. ► We identified hotspots where vulture pose the greatest birdstrike risk to aircraft. ► We provided suggestions for use of our methods with alternate types of data.
