Hybrid materials Ln(PDA)33--LDH through ion exchange reaction of luminescent lanthanide coordination polymers [H2NMe2]3[Ln(DPA)3] and pillared layered double hydroxide. Moreover, a kind of thin film based on the [Dy/Eu(PDA)3]3--LDH is prepared in order to extend its potential applications, displaying desirable white light.249
