Bipyridine-based aggregation-induced phosphorescent emission (AIPE)-active gold(I) complex with reversible phosphorescent mechanochromism and self-assembly characteristics

A novel bipyridine-based gold(Ι) complex is reported. The complex is an aggregation-induced phosphorescent emission (AIPE)-active luminescent molecule, and the luminogen exhibits reversible phosphorescent mechanochromism and interesting self-assembly characteristics.289
