Hydration of DCPD over sulfonic acid-functionalized SBA-15 catalyst

Propylsulfonic acid functionalized SBA-15 is found to be more efficient than the silica gel counterpart or arylsulfonic acid functionalized material in catalyzing DCPD hydration to yield DCPD-OH.
