Incipient flow properties of two-component fine powder systems and their relationships with bulk density and particle contacts

► We studied the incipient flow properties of two-component fine powders. ► Cohesion of mixture is governed by the particle cohesions and coordination number. ► Frictional properties are strongly related to the packing density. ► Flowability index depends strongly on the cohesive property of the powder. ► Incipient flow properties are predictable from those of each component.
