Parallelization of a Lagrangian-Eulerian DEM/CFD code for application to fluidized beds

► A coupled 3D Lagrangian-Eulerian DEM/CFD code has been parallelized. ► Iinitial implementation gave excellent scalability for up to 32 processors. ► Results are presented for a fluidized bed composed of one million particles.
