Synthesis of LiNi1/3Co1/3Al1/3O2 cathode material with eutectic molten salt LiOH-LiNO3

► LiNi1/3Co1/3Al1/3O2 is first synthesized by eutectic mixture of lithium salts. ► The precursor can be mixed uniformly with lithium salts at eutectic melting point. ► This method is simple and inexpensive. ► The synthesized material has good cycling reversibility and rate performance.
