Characterization of various structures in gas-solid fluidized beds by recurrence quantification analysis

► Nonlinear hydrodynamics of gas-solid fluidized beds were investigated with recurrence plot. ► Multi-scale structures for pressure signals of beds were studied via Fourier and wavelet transform. ► Recurrence rate, determinism, and laminarity of pressure fluctuations represent multi-scale structures in the beds.
