Temperature controlled photoacoustic device for thermal diffusivity measurements of liquids and nanofluids

- We present a photoacoustic device for thermal diffusivity measurement of fluids.
- A software PID controller can finely tune the measurement temperature of sample.
- The instrumental setup avoids contribution from convection to thermal diffusivity.
- A finite element analysis showed the absence of detrimental thermal gradients.
- The reliability of measurements has been checked on well-known fluids.
