Preparation of Zn3B10O18·14H2O nanomaterials and their thermochemical properties

► Two kinds of Zn3B10O18·14H2O nanomaterials have been synthesized and characterized. ► Their flame retardant properties were investigated by the thermal analysis and LOI methods. ► Their different enthalpies of solution in 1 mol dm−3 HCl(aq) were measured. ► Their different ΔfHm were obtained by a thermochemical cycle.
