The effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles on thermo-physical properties of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A/2,2′-Diamino-1,1′-binaphthalene nanocomposites

► SEM and TEM were used to demonstrate homogeneous dispersion of the nano-ZnO in epoxy matrix. ► Curing reaction could be successfully described with the autocatalytic model. ► Epoxy nanocomposite exhibited an increase in thermal stability and Tg compared to the neat epoxy.
