Thermochemistry on K2[M(DPA)2]·7H2O(s) (M = Cu and Ni, H2DPA = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid)

► Two isostructural complexes were structurally determined by X-ray crystallography. ► The standard molar enthalpy of formation was derived by isoperibol solution reaction calorimetry. ► The similarity in enthalpies is ascribed to the isostructural nature of the complexes.
