The paper presents the air-condition system that consists of a conventional air conditioner, ground heat exchanger (GHE), and PV installation, mounted on the vertical, south-exposed wall of the building. This complex system provides the possibility to distribute the flow rate of air cooled in the GHE and direct the part of it to the closed channel formed between the wall of the building and PV modules. The remaining part of the air flow rate is directed to the air conditioner. In the summer season, cooling of rear sides of PV modules causes lowering of p-n junction temperature and thus enhances the effectivity of converting the solar irradiance into electricity. Cooling of the building wall occurs at the same time and reduces the heat gain into the interior. Thus, the required cooling capacity of the air conditioner can be lower and so the demand for electric power supplied to the compressor. The elaborated by authors simplified model of heat transfer allows to determine the boundary value of air distribution coefficient ensuring the working effectivity of the whole air-condition system.
