Comparison of different robust control methods in design of decentralized UPFC controllers

► Three robust control methods are used to design UPFC controllers. ► Robust methods include QFT, H∞ loop-shaping and μ-synthesis. ► Designed robust controllers are compared with each other. ► Proposed methods were evaluated using a SIMB system with parametric uncertainties. ► Simulation results confirmed effectiveness of the presented robust methods.
