Advanced power conditioner using sinewave modulated buck-boost converter cascaded polarity changing inverter

► An advanced power converter with sinusoidal voltage tracking converter and inverter is presented. ► It is suitable for renewable energy. ► It can be constructed compactly and inexpensively without DC link electrolytic capacitor. ► Simulation results and experimental prototype are presented to verify the operation principles. ► Good quantitative and qualitative waveforms and high conversion efficiency have been achieved.
