Model predictive based load frequency control_design concerning wind turbines

► Merging of wind turbines in multi area load frequency power system control is studied. ► A robust load frequency control based on model predictive control technique is proposed. ► We tested the proposed system for several mismatched parameters and load disturbance. ► System with MPC controller is robust against the parameter perturbation of the system. ► Wind turbine has a positive impact on the total response of the system.
