Implementation of a 3-D groundwater flow model in a semi-arid region using MODFLOW and GIS tools: The Zéramdine-Béni Hassen Miocene aquifer system (east-central Tunisia)

► In this paper we developed a methodology of groundwater flow model. ► Used to validate and complete the groundwater characterization. ► We use MODFLOW 2000 code coupled with GIS tools. ► This method was applied to Zéramdine-Béni Hassen Miocene aquifer. ► The model was calibrated and validated with datasets of 1980-2007 period.
