Short-term outcomes of a motivation-enhancing approach to DUI intervention

► PRIME For Life (PFL) was compared to intervention as usual (IAU). ► Participants in both interventions intended to use less alcohol and drugs in the future compared to previous use. ► Findings favored PFL on all other cognitive outcomes and on satisfaction. ► Findings were consistent across demographics and dependence levels.
