Investigation of coumarin functionality on the formation of polymeric nanoparticles

► We investigate the impact of coumarin on the formation of polymer nanoparticles. ► Polymer nanoparticles are prepared by flash nanoprecipitation. ► Addition of coumarin to polymer side chain significantly improves nanoparticle stability. ► Increasing coumarin content leads to a decrease in the zeta potential of nanoparticles.
