Avidin/PSS membrane microcapsules with biotin-binding activity

► Polyelectrolyte microcapsules with avidin/PSS membrane were prepared. ► The uptake and release of biotin-labeled FITC (b-FITC) to the capsule were studied. ► The capsule was modified with b-GOD with retaining its catalytic activity.
