Solvent extraction of copper, zinc, cadmium and nickel from sulfate solution in mixer settler unit (MSU)

- Paper reports the recovery of metals from leach liquor of e-waste.
- Extraction and separation of Cu, Zn, Cd and Ni from sulfate solution is reported.
- Selective extraction of Cu from solution was done using LIX 84 at pH 2.0.
- Further extraction of Zn, Ni and Cd was carried out using Cyanex 302.
