Influence of n-alkyl substituents on the thermal behaviour of Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxanes (POSSs) with different cage's periphery

- POSS thermal stability increases with aromatic substituents instead of cycloaliphatic.
- Residues at 700 °C were a further confirmation of higher phenyl POSS thermal stability.
- Thermal stability linearly increases as a function of (CH2) groups in alkyl chain.
