A sensitive and selective fluorescent probe for the detection of hydrogen peroxide with a red emission and a large Stokes shift

A red-emitting fluorescent probe for the sensitive and selective detection of H2O2 has been developed with a large Stokes shift (217 nm). The application of this new probe for intracellular H2O2 detection was successfully demonstrated.
